      Anfield shake-up taking Vorm?

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is thought to be casting an envious eye over former club Swansea City once more, with The Telegraph reporting that he is now in the market for former goalkeeper Michel Vorm.

Liverpool have already been linked with Swansea star Jonathan de Guzman this week, while Rodgers spent big on the Swans' midfielder Joe Allen last summer.

The latest alleged move comes in light of speculation over the Anfield future of Pepe Reina. The Merseyside club are reported to be open to offers for 30 year old Reina, who has had an indifferent season this time. The Spaniard has been linked with both Arsenal and Barcelona.

Rodgers sees Vorm, 29, as the perfect replacement. The Northern Irishman brought Vorm to the Premier League in 2011, while Swansea manager, and the Dutch stopper was something of a relegation as the Welsh side comfortably avoided relegation.

Swansea would undoubtedly demand a huge increase upon the £1.5 million that they paid for Vorm two years ago.

Any move for Vorm would come as part of a wider overhaul at Anfield, as Rodgers looks to avoid another disappointing campaign next season. The retirement of Jamie Carragher and doubts over the capability of several of the first team looks likely to force Rodgers into a busy summer transfer window.
