Manchester United and Chelsea battle it out for youngster

Manchester United and Chelsea might have visions of zooming highly rated Kurt Zouma to their clubs, however the player has signalled that the race is not likely to be on this summer with Sky Sports News indicating that he is keen for another year developing at St Etienne.

At just 18, the centre back has been identified as a future captain of the French national team following some more than impressive performances domestically, so it is no shock to hear that all the key players are sniffing around for his services. Zouma would fit in like a treat with United's other young defensive talents such as Phil Jones and Chris Smalling as Sir Alex Ferguson continues his constant building process for the next generation of United dominance. As for Chelsea they will soon be looking for a John Terry replacement and if the hype surrounding the player is correct then in a few years Zouma could well be that man.

Things though look like being very much stationary at the moment, however once the player does state his interest in a move then you can be sure that the interested parties will be positively racing around to snare Zouma.

The Reds vs the Blues, who will win?
