Redknapp furious with striking predicament

When Harry Redknapp signed just one of his three major striking transfer targets in January (Remy, Crouchy, and, of course, Peter Odemwingie) he was a little bit disappointed. Still, he was pretty excited at the arrival of the prolific Frenchman, and rightly so. He proceeded to loan out another Frenchman, Djibril Cisse, for the rest of the season. This left him with 5 fit senior strikers (with Andy Johnson being ruled out for more or less the rest of the season), 3 of whom were actually part of Redknapp's major plans for the campaign. They were Loic Remy, Jamie Mackie, and Bobby Zamora. DJ Campbell and Jay Bothroyd also feature in the 25-man squad, but they are more for emergency cover and squad rotation than anything else.
So with the latest news being that an abductor muscle injury will keep Remy on the sideliness for the next 2 months (according to the Daily Mirror), the first choice starting partnership up front (which Redknapp envisioned to be the potent combination of Remy and Odemwingie) is now James Mackie and Bobby Zamora. Yay.... I like Mackie, I think he has an excellent attitude and a fantastic work rate on the pitch, but he isn't the most gifted forward on the planet. He supports his main striker well with his running though.... provided that his main striker isn't Bobby Zamora. I could go into a lot of detail about what I think of Bobby Zamora's footballing ability (if you can really call it ability... The sharp of mind among you will already see where I'm going with this), but I think this chant represents what I would probably say, in much fewer words: “When you're sat in row Z, and the ball hits your head, it's Zamora!”. Yup. That pretty much defines Zamora in front of goal for you.
Good luck, QPR. You'll need it.

Er...Remy isn't out for 2 months. He's touch and go for today, so research might be an idea prior to an article like this eh?
At the time of writing, he was said to face two months on the sidelines. Recently, he has been said to have returned to training and the injury may not be as serious. Unfortunately, I am unable to predict the future, and have to go on the information I research at the time of my writing.
