    PSG defender wants games

After spending his entire career so far in Paris, Mamadou Sakho feels it may be time to move on.

According to Sky Sports, the defender is unhappy with sitting on the bench for Paris Saint-Germain.  The huge investment from the club’s Qatari owners has eventually seen him ousted from the side, with PSG's newfound wealth allowing them to recruit some of the best players in Europe.

Turning 23 years of age next week, Sakho is still a young man with a promising career ahead of him.  Despite this, his name is known by football fans across the continent, having made his debut for PSG when he was just 17 years old. The centre-back has gone on to make 182 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.

A France international, Sakho represented Les Bleus at various youth levels before being called up to the senior side in 2010.  He has earned eight caps so far, but admits that he needs to be playing regularly to have a chance of making his country’s squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Sakho was named the UNFP Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year in 2010–11, as well as being included in that season’s team of the year.  Having previously won the Coupe de la Ligue and the Coupe de France with PSG, he is now on course to win his first Ligue 1 title.

As Sakho considers leaving his hometown for the first time, could his future lie in the Premier League?
