Rovers open to Robinson exit

It's fair to say that Paul Robinson has not been through many spells as depressing in his up and down career as the one which he currently finds himself in, with Sky Sports News reporting that the ex England international is now surplus to requirements.
It was only a couple of years ago that under Sam Allardyce Robinson was playing some of the most successful football of his career; so strong was his form that their large calls for him to rethink his decision to call time on his England career with that error against Croatia even being forgiven.
However as the Blackburn Rovers mess got thicker and thicker so did the fortunes of their once highly rated keeper, so far has he fallen that he has now lost his place in their starting XI. It was reported as the transfer window drew near a close that his old manager Allardyce was set to make a bid to save him, however that move to West Ham never materialised leaving Robinson sentenced to further time in footballs second tier.
Unfortunately Robinson looks to be one of the losers of what has been a diabolical and at times almost comical few years at Ewood Park. Reports do indicate that Rovers are open to a loan move which would grant Robinson an escape route, however it does seems questionable over whether fellow championship clubs would be willing to pay the proposition of his Premiership wages that Blackburn are looking for.
