Could Kamara be the Kei for Norwich?

With the transfer window’s closure at the end of January there will be no more new players moving permanently to the Premier League. How sad. Fortunately for all you transfer fans the loan window is still very much ajar.  That’s right, get your temporary signings while they’re hot!

It is in this spirit that Norwich City have announced the singing of the headline writers dream Kei Kamara from Sporting Kansas City on a short term deal which will expire on the 6th May after he was granted a visa report football365.

The 28-year-old Seirra Leone international will now be available for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Fulham.

Chris Hughton seemed enthusiastic about his new signing and speaking after his side’s draw with Spurs said "I think he'll give us another dimension in the forward area.

He's a player that's done very, very well in the MLS over the last few seasons, scored a lot of goals, a lot of assists.”

Hopefully for Hughton Kamara can help to halt Norwich’s side which has seen them pick up just two wins from their last 12 games in all competitions.

The Canaries seem to be one of the most inconsistent sides in the league so far this season. After an appalling start saw them deep in the relegation zone Chris Hughton’s men embarked on an unbeaten run which was only bettered in Europe’s top leagues by Barcelona. They have now dropped off again rather severely and sit just seven points off the relegation zone in 12th.
