Dzeko interested in filling Polish hole

In terms of replacements for the seemingly on his way out Robert Lewandowski, Borussia Dortmund could do worse than Edin Dzeko and ESPN Soccernert are reporting that the player would be interested in a move back to the country where he made his name.
Dzeko has had an indifferent time at Manchester City and despite increased game time this season he is probably not feeling the love at The Ethiad just yet, particularly given that the club seem determined to bring in a whole host of new goal scoring talent in the summer despite his prolific season to date. Add in the lack that for so long he had to play second fiddle to the calamitous Mario Balotelli and it is easy to see why he is looking for a relationship where he might be a little bit more appreciated.
The Bosnian is more than proven in The Bundesliga having had three prolific seasons with Wolfsburg, and with that in mind its hard to pinpoint a more ready made replacement for Dortmund's free-scoring Pole. With Dzeko flirtatiously giving a whole manner of praise to the German Champions it looks like this could well be one of stories to keep a close on once the window is busted open.
