Falcao's 'best option' is Atletico stay

Atletico Madrid's star striker has been on many a rich football club owner's shopping list, particularly Roman Abramovich, who will be salivating at the thought of bringing the prolific front-man to west London, so that he has two actual strikers at his disposal.
However, he (and no-doubt many others) may well suffer the sharp sting of rejection as Falcao has tipped sticking to the remaining 3 years of his contract as his 'best option'. Deflate your bruised ego Roman, he's more than entitled to his opinion.
Since his move from Porto a year and a half ago, he has put in a series of remarkable performances that have seen his global profile drastically raised, and have even earned him a spot in the Fifa World (La Liga) XI. Currently, his side's league position is pretty good - they lie in second place, four points ahead of local rivals Real Madrid. Should Atletico's ascendance continue, Falcao will be participating in a team that mount a decent title challenge, and play Champions League football. But if it fails to be consistent, or Atletico fail to win anything major (which would not come as a major shock - no disrespect intended) then Falcao may well reconsider his options.
If Abramovich heard me, he's almost certainly in the process of drawing up a very enticing contract with which to lure the Colombian forward, but if Falcao moves for a better chance of winning a trophy, perhaps Chelsea is far too similar to Atletico in terms of major trophy contention?
