Benteke could leave Villa Park

Considering his form for Aston Villa so far this season, it is no surprise that Christian Benteke is attracting interest from some of the top clubs in Europe.
Closer to home, the striker has been linked with a move to one of the Premier League elite and, according to Sky Sports, the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all considering making offers for him in the summer.
Benteke has incredibly scored 15 goals in 28 games for Villa since arriving in England on deadline day in August. Costing them £7 million, the former Genk man was unheard of by many on these shores, but he soon made his name known by finding the net on his debut. Coming on as a substitute to wrap up a 2-0 win, the Belgium international has been the highlight of an uninspiring campaign for Paul Lambert’s side.
At just 22 years of age, one would imagine that Benteke is only going to get better. With immense strength and a rapid burst of pace, Premier League defences have been terrorised by some of the big striker’s performances. His most notable game for the club was against Liverpool, as Villa’s struggles were temporarily forgotten after he scored a brace to help defeat the Reds and pull off a massive upset at Anfield.
If the Villains can retain their top flight status, will they be able to keep hold of Benteke for next season?
