Bruce looks to snap Brady up on a permanent deal

Hull's bid for the promised land of the Premiership looks set to be given a boost with Sky Sports News indicating that the tigers are close to completing a permanent deal for on loan Manchester United winger Robbie Brady.

The Yorkshire outfit have been one of the shock packages in the Championship this season and they are keen to go all out to secure what would be a surprise return to Premier League football.

Steve Bruce has done what he does best at the KC, using his vast array of contacts to bring in a whole host of players over the summer, with these varying from 'seen it all experienced pro's' to 'up-and-coming youngsters'. However a large proportion of these were loan signings which ran out in January, with the most notable of these being Brady, David Meyler and Ahmed El Mohamady.

Thankfully for Bruce the Hull board have been impressed by what they have seen thus far and it looks likely that they are ready to buy into his Premier League dream. Meyler was signed on a permanent deal last week and it looks likely that Brady will be the next player to be snapped up on a permanent deal.

The move might come as somewhat of a surprise to United fans given that Brady is still only 20-years-of-age, and you would think he is only going to get better, however who are we to questions the methods of Sir Alex Ferguson. Nevertheless United's loss will be Hull's gain and the permanent signing of Brady would make this already a very impressive window for the tigers, and with Bruce's reputation for bringing in a player or four in the transfer window it's likely that nothing will be left unturned in this unlikely promotion push.
