    Livermore free to leave

Tottenham have made Jake Livermore available in the January transfer window according to reports in the Daily Mail. The 23-year-old, who made his England debut against Italy last August, has been told he is free to leave on loan, although it is understood that Spurs are prepared to let him leave permanently if the right offer is made.

Andre Villas Boas’ first choice midfield pairing of Moussa Dembele and Sandro have been excellent in the first half of the season and even when Dembele and Scott Parker have been out with injury the Spurs boss has opted for Tom Huddlestone in the centre. This is all rather bad news for Livermore who has been limited to two starts. Things could get even more difficult for the 23-year-old with Parker fully fit again, especially as even the experienced international has struggled to break back into the side.

QPR and Fulham are reportedly both interested in a move for Livermore and at such a crucial stage in his career the young midfielder needs to be playing regularly. If he has serious England ambitions a spot in the starting line -up for Fulham is a much better option that languishing on the White Hart Lane bench, or worse.
