Is Falcao already on his way to Real Madrid?

Sorry to break it to you Chelsea and Man City fans, but the Daily Mirror have some heart-breaking news for you.
Oh no, don’t panic, financial fair play is still a Lord of the Rings style myth and the world hasn’t run out of the colour blue. No, the news is Radomel Falcao has apparently already signed a deal with Real Madrid which will take him to the Santiago Bernabeu in the Summer.
The Mirror backs this up with quotes from Atletico president Enrique Cerezo. When quizzed about Falcao's future on Spanish television, Cerezo replied: "Falcao has had something signed with Real Madrid for some time."
So sorry guys, Chelsea fans will have to console themselves with new signing Demba Ba whilst all you City followers will just have to make do with your £130m strike-force I guess.
Apparently the news has come as a ‘hammer blow’ to Roman Abramovich – much like when his side lost 3-1 to West Ham last month I imagine – who had identified Falcao as the perfect man to put Fernando Torres out of his misery in the summer. The Russian will now quite possibly turn to Napoli’s Edison Cavani instead, who is rated at £35m.
The arrival of either superstar at the bridge will surely spell the end for Torres, but it is the future of Demba Ba which is perhaps more interesting. Have Chelsea simply purchased him as a stop gap until the summer? Will the Blues turn to a two up front formation? Is he Roman’s main man for the foreseeable future? Or is he destined for a place on the bench, 80th minute substitute appearances and occasional league cup outings? I’ll leave you to decide which I feel is more likely (clue: it’s the last one).
