    Graham looking for Swansea exit

Strikers handing in transfer requests looks to becoming contagious, with Sky Sports News reporting that Danny Graham is following Peter Odemwingie's lead last week and asking to leave his current club. To be fair to Graham his motives look more morale than those of the Nigerian, given that he is no longer a guaranteed starter at The Liberty and his desire is to move back to the North East.

The ex Watford mans has been the only loser from the remarkable Michu transfer given that the once record Swansea signing is now finding himself picking up splinters on the bench, given the Spaniards seemingly endless supply of goals. What is likely to have further heightened his desire to push for a move away is that Sunderland have been tracking him, such a move would see him be able to move back to his beloved North East even if it would mean he be lining up for his boyhood clubs arch rivals.

Graham did initially suggest he would be willing to fight for his place, however recent goals appear to have done little to push him any nearer to a starting birth and with his eyes set on a return up north his time in Wales might just becoming to an end if Sunderland can keep up their end of the bargain and make the required ransom to take him home.
