Diame future still up in the air

It seems that one of the biggest transfer soap opera saga's of this window is likely to roll on until the very last moments, with ESPN Soccernet outlining that Sam Allardyce is still unsure over the future of Mohamed Diame. Its amazing what a few strong performances have done for Diame; for prior to his free transfer to West Ham this summer he was hardly setting the world alight at Wigan however some impressive performances at Upton Park have seen his stock rise dramatically.

So incredible has his rise been that the likes of Arsenal and Spurs are both showing interest in his services and if this interest wasn't enough to be giving big Sam sleepless nights, Diame also apparantley has a release cause of just 3.5 million on his contract which is likely to add further interest to the circling vultures. Diame himself has hardly helped Allardyce's already frail nerves on this issue, with the midfielder reportley turning up late to training earlier on this week which led to many thinking he had jumped ship.

Unfortunately for the ex Bolton and Blackburn boss the Diame rumour mill is likely to continue to rumble on right until the window slams shut and it still looks touch and go over whether the Hammers will hang on to their prized asset.
