Hammers could offload frontman

With a plethora of strikers arriving at Upton Park, could Carlton Cole be on his way out of West Ham?
According to Sky Sports, the former Chelsea academy product has drawn the interest of Turkish club Kasimpasa.
When the Hammers recruited Andy Carroll on a season-long loan from Liverpool at the start of this year’s campaign, Cole was initially used as back-up to the £35 million centre forward. With the 29-year-old often only emerging from the bench, Sam Allardyce seemed to prefer England’s latest target man at the spearhead of his attack.
When injury ruled Carroll out for the whole of December, Cole returned to the starting lineup for the hectic Christmas period. He immediately scored his first goal of the season in an impressive 3-1 win at home to Chelsea, but has only found net the once more since then.
Carroll is expected to make his comeback within the next couple of weeks, whilst two others forwards have been brought to the club on loan during the January transfer window. Arsenal’s Marouane Chamakh will be looking to get back amongst the goals with the Hammers, whilst Brazilian striker Wellington Paulista has joined in the hope of making a name for himself in England.
Having recently made his 200th league appearance for West Ham, could Cole be set for pastures new?
