Lights out for Mario

Mario Balotelli’s heavy smoking addiction has hit the papers again and is said to have left current manager fuming. Roberto Mancini has had enough of the controversial striker, who has been told that the smoke from his cigarettes have worsened the damage on his recent eye injury.

Mancini has declared that the moody forward needs to either ‘put out’ or ‘get out’ and has referred him to a specialist to go for hypnosis about his habit, no ifs or butts, although reports suggest that he is not keen on the idea.

‘Super Mario’ has undergone laser eye surgery after having an allergic reaction to his contact lenses, but the City doctor is hopeful that it won’t hinder his on-field puff-ormance when he returns to action the Blues.

City have smoke-screened Balotelli’s wild antics in the past, but it is starting to becoming a drag and his career at the Etihad could go up in smoke if he doesn’t start behaving himself.
