So Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t completely in love with himself?

After reaching the remarkable tally of 150 goals for Real Madrid in just over three seasons at the club, the Sun reports that the preening Ronaldo threw one of his customary hissy fits last night as he refused to celebrate either of his two goals in Real's 3-0 victory over Granada and told reporters afterwards: “I am sad and the club knows it, that’s why I didn’t celebrate the goals.’

So what exactly can Real Madrid’s Number 7 be so upset about? Well reports claim that it’s because Andres Iniesta was awarded the Best Player in Europe award on Friday night ahead of him but Ronaldo rubbished these claims and said his unhappiness was more for “professional reasons”.

Now what seems more believable? That Ronaldo, privileged and indulged as he is with a team basically built around him (that wins trophies) while being paid a fortune is unhappy or rather that Ronaldo, who supposedly borders on hysteria every time Lionel Messi so much as touches the ball for Barcelona, is disillusioned at not achieving the individual awards after an admittedly brilliant season for both club and country?

This is all of course heresay and conjecture....but it seems Jose Mourinho has come a long way from the man who had such zero tolerance at Chelsea for such affairs.
