Michael may make move to misfiring Reds


The transfer window is always a crazy period in the world of football.
Whether your club is moving for a superstar or a big name team is closing in on your prized asset; the two month period regularly grips football fans right up until deadline day.
Yet, it is often frustrating once the window slams shut and your team has failed to land the necessary player to fill the void from a possible departure.
The same can be said of Liverpool, who missed out on Clint Dempsey on Friday, despite losing Andy Carroll, who moved to West Ham United on loan.
With it, the Reds are somewhat light up-front, amidst reports that manager Brendan Rodgers may move for out-of-contract striker Michael Owen.
As all are fully aware, Owen enjoyed a successful 13-year stint at Anfield between 1991 and 2004 and if they are looking to a short-term deal, he wouldn’t be a bad acquisition.
As a free agent, Owen can also sign at any time, with their being no stipulations regarding the transfer widow.
