Ramirez deal is back on, apparently

In a similar way to how the move of Javi Martinez from Athletic Bilbao to Bayern Munich has gone on for weeks since the deal was “agreed” and Martinez was on his way to Munich (seriously, how is he getting there, by bicycle?), we have the story of Gaston Ramirez.
Bologna's Ramirez has been the subject of various speculation and conjecture over the Summer and it looked as if the Uruguayan winger was all set for a move to Southampton.
He even made those comments about no other clubs offering the same amount of money as the South Coast outfit did; hark at him for being honest.
Anyway, according to a story in the Daily Mirror, the deal for the 21-year-old is back on...woo!
The paper reports that the deal will cost Southampton a club record £11million fee while Ramirez will be tied to a five year deal worth £45,000 a week.
