Swansea a surprise nail in the coffin for La Liga?

They say that La Liga is only a two horse race and clubs like Valencia, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid will never challenge for the title again.

That may be true as the gap between the top two and the rest extends and a rumour in the Sun today might add more fuel to that particular fire.

The paper reports that should Scott Sinclair leave Swansea, the Welsh club are lining up Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez as his replacement.

Now, if a player who will have Champions League football next season and is a regular first team footballer in Spain (44 appearances in all competitions last season) is interested in a move to, with the greatest respect, Swansea, then it says an awful lot about La Liga.

Although, perhaps making a value judgement based on a football rumour, and one that is only two paragraphs long at that, might be going a bit too far.
