Wolves standing firm again

They may be a Championship club now, but it hasn't stopped this pack of Wolves from getting angry, barking loudly and be baying for blood at any hint of a club trying to snatch one of its cubs.
Firstly, Wolverhampton Wanderers, to give them their real name, have been strong in rejecting the overtures of Sunderland for striker Steven Fletcher, despite even the Scotsman requesting a route out of the Midlands.
Now it is the same drill for winger Matt Jarvis who has been attracting the interest of Stoke, who instead chose to pursue Jarvis' fellow Molinuex wide-boy Michael Kightly, and Southampton (it must be the red and white stripes), but it's the claret and blue of West Ham that have emerged ahead of the chasing pack and actually offered a deal for the 26 year old wide man which has, you've guessed it, been rejected.
Sky Sports believe that said bid to be in the region of £9 million, but hard-bargainers Wolves have brushed the offer to one side and once again re-iterated that they are under no financial pressure to sell despite their relegation.
If Jez Moxey and his fellow Wolves representatives scoffed at that, this page would have loved to have seen the reaction they gave in dismissing Fulham's seemingly flimsy £4.5 million for Jarvis last week.
Sky do say however that there are reasons for asking so much for the once-capped England international, saying they owe his former club Gillingham a 15% sell-on fee with Jarvis still having three years to go on his contract.
