    Baggies boing to Argentine midfielder

Sometimes in life, you have to compromise on your goals; ideal career, dream jobs, the perfect house probably aren't going to happen unless you're in that 0.00001%. Sure, you can still be happy in life when you compromise but, at the end of they day, it isn't the stuff of childhood dreams.

Following a similar theme, an Argentine midfielder who has previously been linked with moves to Arsenal and Manchester United looks set to sign for West Bromwich Albion according to the Daily Mirror today.

The paper reports that 24-year-old Claudio Yacob held talks with the Baggies last week with discussions currently ongoing.

The midfielder was released Argentinian side Racing Club after six seasons at the club.

Elsewhere, in other West Brom news, Blackburn Rovers are thought to be lining up a move for Baggies striker Simon Cox for £2.5million according to the Daily Mail.

The striker joined the club in 2009 but has failed to secure a regular first team place and is thought to be ready to quit the Hawthorns to restart his career.

Blackburn gaffer Steve Kean is keen (so to speak) on improving his striking option after already snapping up Leon Best and Nuno Gomes so far this summer to replace the outgoing Yakubu and probably outgoing Junior Hoilett.
