Harry to fulfil his destiny to be an international manager?

After being handed the England job by the media only to be left red faced (more so than usual), Harry Redknapp is in line for the vacant Russia Job.

Since his dream to manage England decided to stay just that, the chiefs in charge of drawing up a short list of wanted managers have reportedly put our Harry's name on it.

Let's not forget though that Harry left Spurs after they refused to offer him a long term contract. Is he serious?

The man who had packed his bags and was ready to walk out on the lilly-whites wanted a long term commitment from his employers? So left after they said no. What planet is 'Arry on?

Well, if the Euro's are anything to go by, maybe the Russian Football Union might be best served by offering Harry a 6 month contract.

However, the list also includes 'realistic' targets such as Pep Guardiola, who is the most in demand manager right now, even though he has reiterated many a times that he will be taking a year out from football. Sometimes, people tend not to listen.

Former Liverpool manager, Rafa Benitez is also in the running, however still has plenty of compensation money left over from his previous two jobs to keep him on Sky Sports pundit chair for now.

Another name on the list that beggers belief is ex England manager, Fabio ' no speak-e English' Capello. Will he really be bothered to learn Russian? No, can't see that happening either.

The RFU have promised a big name manager. Because we all know that big name managers always work out well, don't we?
