Ivanovic: Jose interested

The Spanish capital awash with sunshine is a good place to be, it's an even better place to be when you're on a weekly salary exceeding £100,000, one can imagine.
Branislav Ivanovic, though, would rather continue his spell in the English capital, which isn't awash with sunshine so often.
The Chelsea defender claims that he is aware of Real Madrid interest in him, but is happy plying his trade in West London according to Sky Sports.
The Serbian, who can play at both right back and centre back, is a talented defender and Jose Mourinho is said to be interested in signing him.
Speaking after playing for Serbia, ironically against Spain, the 28 year old acknowledged the interest but pledged his immediate future to the Blues.
Speaking to Marca, the former Lokomotiv Moscow man said: 'Yes, I know that a lot has been said about my future and that Madrid is interested and tracking me.
'I know that Madrid is interested, but now isn't the time to be talking about that.
'I'm focused on the national team at the moment and I'm really happy at Chelsea and in London.
'I just won the Champions League a week ago and changing teams is not in my thoughts right now.'
Ivanovic has made 146 appearances for Chelsea, 42 of them coming in the 2011/12 campaign.
