Sensible summer for Warnock

Leeds United boss, Neil Warnock, has seen eye to eye with Ken Bates regarding the finances of the Elland Road club, as they seek to build a promotion chasing side according to Sky Sports.
Jason Pearce was the first signing to arrive at Elland Road, for a fee rumoured to be around £500,000, and many pundits expect more signings to follow.
The former Queens Park Rangers boss, although keen to build a side capable of promotion, was quick to point out that he wouldn't be acting rashly in the transfer market.
Likewise he insisted that he hadn't disagreed with Bates about the 3 times Champions of England's budget, saying: 'I'm realistic about what we can afford.
'I know the players' wages that we're going to lose and what we can bring in. As long as I don't overspend that money I'm saving etc I don't see a problem.
'I'm not throwing money stupidly. I'm trying to get value for money and at the same time I'm trying to get the hunger and the drive and the sort of quality we need at Elland Road, which I think has been lacking.'
Warnock, a proud Yorkshireman, has transfer listed 6 players and told a further 5 that they wouldn't be offered new contracts.
