      Vorm not leaving Liberty

Michael Vorm has ruled out a summer move away from Swansea City according to Sky Sports

The Swans player of the year, had been linked with Arsenal. However, transferring away from Brendan Rodger's over achievers isn't something that appeals to the Dutchman.

With Arsene Wenger understood to be targeting a move for the 28 year old shot stopper, the former Utrecht man moved to quash rumours.

Speaking ahead of his sides final Premier League game of the season against Liverpool on Sunday, Vorm said: 'I think I will stay at Swansea. I like it here.

'I am No.1 and we play the league's best football. There are not many better places I could go. Why should I go and sit on the bench somewhere?

The £1.5million man concluded: 'It's been a very special season, especially as it's my first at the club.'

No doubt that supporters of the Welsh side will be pleased to hear such words from a 'keeper who saves have been an integral part of the Swans success.
