      Anfield is home for Kuyt

The Liverpool forward, Dirk Kuyt, has had his agent play down reports of a possible move to Serie A and AS Roma.

The Dutchman hasn't been a regular for Kenny Dalglish's side this term, and there are reports that he could soon be leaving the North West.

In his 6 years at Liverpool, Kuyt has only won 1 trophy, this years Carling Cup, in which he scored in the final having entered the fray as a substitute.

With Roma and Feyenoord, Kuyt's former club, circling his agent has moved to state that his client would like to remain on Merseyside.

'He would prefer to stay at Liverpool,' Rob Jansen said to Algemeen Dagblad.

'If that is not possible there is a big possibility that he would decide to choose a new foreign adventure.

'If he did ever return to the Netherlands, then it would 100% be for Feyenoord. I am going to Liverpool in the next 10 days to talk to them about Kuyt.'

The 31 year old has scored 5 goals for The Reds in all competitions this season.
