Pulis looks to offer Woodgate Britannia extension

Stoke City boss, Tony Pulis, is eyeing up offering Jonathan Woodgate a 1 year contract extension.
Having made 21 appearances in all competitions for The Potters this term, the 32 year old needs to make only 3 more to trigger a clause in his current contract, which would extend his stay in the Potteries for another year.
Woodgate is understood to be keen to earn a recall to the starting 11 following injury, and ultimately a new contract.
With 7 games remaining, though, the former Real Madrid centre half is unsure he will reach his tally.
His manager, however, seems reluctant to allow Woodgate to leave The Britannia Stadium.
'If he doesn't get the games in that doesn't mean we aren't going to offer him a new contract,' says Pulis.
'Woody has been brilliant, playing in a lot more games than people probably thought he could play, and he's good to have around.
'He's been very good for (Ryan) Shawcross and (Robert) Huth in lots of respects.
'So let's get the season out of the way and then we'll sit down and discuss everything with (chairman) Peter (Coates) and the family.'
