David Moyes wants summer spending to begin quickly

Fresh from his sides’ excellent fight-back at Old Trafford to secure a point, Everton manager has urged a quick flash of the cash to avoid being left behind in the mad scramble for transfers in the summer.
After a superb season in which the Toffees have reached an FA Cup semi-final and lie in seventh position, the over-achieving manager Moyes has sent a message to his boardroom asking for some quick deals to unearth some more talent like Nikica Jelavic and Darren Gibson who have both impressed since arriving at Goodison Park in January.
Moyes is eager to build on their current form by getting the wallet out early, according to Sky Sports, and despite Bill Kenwright’s constant search for fresh investment, the Scotsman is hopeful he will have some funds available to him.
Moyes, forever being linked to managers’ jobs at the very top, told the Liverpool Daily Post that doing the recruitment early is the best way forward as it gives the newcomers ample time to settle in.
The 48 year old manager who has just celebrated a decade in charge at Goodison Park, also told the Daily Post how he is still hamstrung by financial constraints and is still regarding a top ten finish in the Premier League a success, made able this year he says by the arrivals on Merseyside of Jelavic, Gibson and Landon Donovan Stephen Pienaar on loan, which have pushed them over the line.
Moving some players out could also be on the agenda too as Moyes said being able to do that early is ideal, clearing space for more arrivals which was the case with Louis Saha and the commentator’s dream Diniyar Bilyaletdinov who were both show the exit door in January.
