Foster to make Baggies move Permanent?

West Brom ‘keeper Ben Foster has dropped a hint that he may join the Hawthorns outfit on a permanent basis in the summer.

The Englishman is presently on a season long loan from Birmingham City and his current manager Roy Hodgson is said to have thought that his side have a good chance of landing the former Manchester United player in the transfer market.

With Albion’s  West Midlands rivals plying their trade in the Championship this season, Foster admits that a move is more likely if they remain there next term.

Speaking to the Express & Star the sought after shot stopper said ‘I am enjoying it here.’

He went on to praise Hodgson’s team saying ‘It’s such a good club and I have made a lot of new friends here and we will just have to wait and see what happens at the end of the season’.

He conceded that his future is down the Blues fortunes in the second tier: ‘West Brom are in a very good position for next season so it's down to Birmingham.’

Should Birmingham get promotion, I'm sure that would change things a bit, but we'll just have to wait and see’

Foster has made 29 League appearances this campaign.
