Pompey recruit City Slickers

Depleted Championship side, Portsmouth, have been bolstered by the arrival of Karim Rekik and Luca Scapuzzi on loan from Premier League contenders Manchester City.
Rekik, who came through the Feyenoord academy, is joined by Scapuzzi, 20, who has made two senior appearances at the Citizens as well as 9 on loan at League 1 side Oldham Athletic.
It’s a welcome boost for Pompey boss Michael Appleton who told the clubs official website: ‘Karim can play at left-back or as a left-sided centre-half. He's comfortable on the ball and has the right temperament to be at a club like Manchester City.’
The former West Brom coach went on to add: ‘Luca is a good footballer who can play out wide or up front. He's already got Football League experience at Oldham’
The two youngsters arrive at Fratton Park, initially on a 1 month loan deal.
