Tottenham midfielder ready for Reading switch

In attempt to help him find the net and finally rid him of that ridiculous afro, Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is thinking of sending Tom Huddlestone on loan to fellow Premier League outfit Reading.
The 26-year-old vowed to grow his hair until he found the back of the net and as mother nature's way of laughing at him he has remained injured for the majority of the 20-months that he has gone without a goal, and as you can imagine, his head now looks like something that resembles Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons.
Reading are desperate to start climbing up the table and scurry away from the dreaded drop-zone and Brian McDermott sees Huddlestone as someone who can help him with that aim.
During his time at Spurs the bulky midfielder has appeared just short of 200 times for the club and has the 2007/08 season League Cup to show for his stay, but he his string of setbacks have seen him largely as a background figure and he now intends to establish himself as the enforcer that he was once known as, but away from White Hart Lane.
As a promise not to chop his barnet before he scores, Huddlestone has set up a chairty page and started collecting donations for Cancer Research and set an aim of £75,000 to be raised.
At least the dodgy hair is worthwhile...
