Arsenal reignite interest in France midfielder

Will he? Won't he? Yann M'Vila is again being linked with a switch to the Emirates and rumours have it that £8m could be enough for Rennes to let him go in next month's transfer window.

There is always that rumour that refuses to disappear and will continue to pop up whenever the chance arises, and although we heard it a million times in the summer, the Metro are reporting that Arsene Wenger is set to secure a deal for French midfielder M'Vila.

The defensive stability that Arsenal appeared to have at the start of the season has seemingly dissolved into a complete and utter shambles at the back, something which M'Vila could shore up with his steely, tough-tackling style of play just in front of the back 4.

With Abou Diaby refusing to budge from the medical table and no one else to provide cover to the ever-depleting defence, bad-boy M'Vila would certainly be a decent addition at the Emirates.

The France international was given lengthy ban for club and country for an unauthorised night out recently and as a result Rennes are looking to get rid as soon as possible.

Filling the Arsenal midfield with an army of Frenchman? That is so last decade, Arsene.
