Manchester United want Cristiano Ronaldo return

Sir Alex Ferguson will be waking with a smile on his face this morning as he continues to dream of a Cristiano Ronaldo return to Old Trafford.

The superstar is apparently ready to reject the idea of a contract extension at the Santiago Bernabeu and head towards the airport as a result of being victimised by the Spanish press.

    Aww you poor thing, you.

When Real Madrid splashed £80m on the Portuguese forward, rumours are they implemented a £1bn buy-out clause in order to squash any speculation about the player leaving the club before the end of his career, but after becoming disillusioned with life in the sunny capital, a deal could be round the corner to offer him a way out of his misery.

It must be terrible playing for one of the most illustrious clubs in world football, scoring game-in game-out and getting paid millions of pounds for the pleasure, and although his performances have been eclipsed by the phenomenon that is Lionel Messi this year, the former Sporting star has still engraved himself as one of the best to ever play the game.

So, could a move back to Manchester be on the cards or could it be a switch to the French capital with Paris Saint-Germain?

One can only imagine the look of sheer joy on that little rosy face of Sir Alex if this move were to come off.
