Wenger in for Barcelona star

It isn’t a trait that is well known with Arsene Wenger but is the Frenchmen finally changing his ways and looking to be audacious in the January transfer window?
Arsenal are currently being linked with an initial loan move with a view to a permanent deal for Barca forward David Villa.
The 31 year old Spaniard has increasingly grown in frustration at the lack of first team football he gets. After he picked up that broken leg last year Barcelona have managed perfectly well without him and therefore since he has returned he has occupied one of the seats alongside Tito Vilanova and his staff.
The only worry for Arsenal will be if the price is right once the loan deal is up and they have the ultimatum of buying him or sending him back to Spain. No doubt Villa won’t come cheap after all he is still a world class striker when in form and when he is regular playing first team football.
As it looks like Thierry Henry will be returning to Arsenal for a third spell at the club in January Wenger may really please the fans and give them the festive surprise of signing two new strikers for rest of the season. If they got their two men then Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the top 4 would certainly improve that’ for sure.
