No recall on Rose from Sunderland

Martin O’Neill is confident that Tottenham won’t recall Danny Rose in January. Rose is on loan at Sunderland until the end of the season but Spurs have the right to call back Rose in January if they need him.
O’Neill may need to be more worried about losing Rose to Redknapp at QPR rather than to AVB ad Rangers are keen in acquiring about his services at Loftus Road.
But it appears this won’t be the case as Spurs’ injury list is getting shorter, players are starting to find some fitness again. Gareth Bale is back from a two week absence and will play at the weekend. Michael Dawson likewise is back after injuring himself in the same game that Bale did.
With Emmanuel Adebayor facing a late fitness test for tomorrow and Scott Parker well on the way to recovering, AVB may have the luxury of being able to have too many players available.
As for Benoit Assou-Ekotto he is back in training and well on the way to returning to the squad for regular first team action once again. It seems that Spurs are now not as desperate to have Rose back as they were two or three weeks ago.
