    Chamakh to the San Siro?

Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh could be off to the San Siro according to the Metro.  The Moroccan striker is being looked at as cover for Inter Milan's main striker Diego Milito.

Many Gunners may think that this is either an April Fools joke or an early Christmas present.  It might just be the latter.  Unlikely as it may seem, the Italian team are looking to get Chamakh on loan to provide cover for Milito who along with Antonio Cassano and Rodrigo Palacio are the club's only senior strikers.

Chamakh hasn't exactly excelled at the Emirates Stadium in fact he's done so well that he hasn't appeared in the league for the north London team this season.  However he did have a run of games in the 2010-2011 season but since then he has mostly been deployed in cup games.  In total he has made sixty five appearances for Arsenal scoring fourteen goals in total.  He and Bendtner would almost certainly be the first names on my "so bad they're good" first eleven teamsheet.

Apparently Arsene Wenger was last seen sprinting towards Holloway Road tube station dragging a Chamakh shaped bag.  He was heard screaming "Get out of my way I'm trying to get to Gatwick."
