    Return of Le Sulk?

Nicolas Anelka could be on the verge of a return to the Premier League according to the Metro.  The French international striker is currently with Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua where he is a player and assistant manager.  Unfortunately he hasn't covered himself in glory in China where he has scored three goals in twenty two games so far and was involved in a disagreement with fans after refusing to bow in front of his sides travelling support before a game.

It is thought that Queens Park Rangers and West Ham are the favourites to land the man famously described as Le Sulk (Is it just me or wouldn't it be great to see a forward line of Le Sulk and Hulk?).

Anelka is so keen to quit China that he is willing to walk away from any compensation owed to him on his £4.3million per year contract in order to gain a free transfer.  Over Anelka's career he has piled up an incredible cumulative transfer spend of over £90 million and if he does move his next club will be his tenth, so I'm quite sure he won't be worried about walking away without a fee.

If Anelka can re-find his best form for one last hurrah he can still be deadly in front of goal.  Despite his occasional stroppy silliness he was a fantastic player.  Will he manage to bow out in style?
