Toure wants to end career with Manchester City

Yaya Toure has expressed his wishes to stay at Manchester City for the rest of his career.

How many times have we heard that from a professional football player?

It must be a bitter pill to swallow for City fans this season as they continually see the red half of Manchester scraping their way to victory with an abundance of late goals and also  to see them perched at the top of the league, but the news of one of their star players sharing his desire to stay and help the team’s ambition of silverware should be enough to raise a smile from the fans.

Unlike his brother Kolo, Yaya Toure has entrenched himself as one of the most impressive talents in England’s topflight and his quality seems to know no bounds. He was a pivotal figure in City’s title win last season and also scored the winner in their FA Cup final against Stoke in 2011, but due to the side’s poor performances in Europe there have been whispers about the man-mountain looking to jump ship.

With legs as thick as tree trunks and a torso as large as the incredible Hulk’s, it would need to be a pretty big ship in order to catch him, if that were the case.
