Former Arsenal player wanted as a coach

What is the best thing to do when your manager is under severe pressure from all angles and having every decision questioned by the millions of eyes that are currently cast upon him?

Er, suggest that he could use a hand from a player with zero coaching experience?

Well, according to the billionaire who owns 29% of the club that is the correct answer, as he is apparently ready to ask Thierry Henry for a helping hand.

Now I think I speak for many when I say I miss the old Arsenal side, renowned for their fluency and silky style of play, with the likes of Dennis Bergkamp and Henry leading their attack. I also wouldn’t even know where to suggest where the main problem sits with their current situation, but what I do know is that it is a time for togetherness at the club.

Whether Wenger stays or goes, matters have to be resolved quickly or else they are in danger of completely losing the plot, although you could suggest that their Capital One Cup exit to League 2 side Bradford City has already seen them do so.

Should Henry join the Emirate’s outfit as a coach rather than a player? Perhaps. But should the big bosses be forcing opinions on an under pressure manager who seemingly already has the world on his back? No.
