    Who's on Fergie's wish list?

With Nani's departure from Manchester United seemingly a dead cert it gives Sir Alex Ferguson a chance to consider his Christmas list of replacement players. At the top of that list, according to the Manchester Evening News, are James Rodriguez and Victor Wanyama.

Rodriguez is a 21-year-old winger who is currently playing for Porto. The young Colombian signed a contract in 2010 with the Portuguese club that is reported to include a €45 million release clause. He has been in fine form this season scoring seven goals in eleven games in the Primeria Division to help Porto to second in the league.

Wanyama is a 21-year-old Kenyan who plays for Celtic and is either employed as a defensive midfielder or a centre back. Wanyama would be the first Kenyan to play in the Premier League. A man for national firsts he also became the first Kenyan to score in the Champions League when he scored against Barcelona in Celtic's famous win in November.

Both players would add strength and depth to the Manchester United squad as they continue to lead the Premier League and head into the knockout stages of the Champions League.  Wanyama would be useful but Rodriguez would be a massive signing and a direct replacement for Nani.
