Keane not keen on off-season loan move

A host of Premier League clubs are chasing Robbie Keane's signature according to the Mirror. The 32-year-old LA Galaxy striker is being chased by Aston Villa, Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City. The clubs are hoping that the Irish international will join them on loan whilst the Major League Soccer is on its off-season. Last season Keane had a six-week loan spell at Aston Villa scoring three goals during his stay in the midlands.
Keane has dismissed the speculation saying that he is hoping to spend the time shaking off knocks from the previous season. As we get older it happens to us all Robbie, don't worry. However, Keane's lack of keen-ness has not deterred the managers of the trio of Premier League clubs as they battle it out to secure the striker on loan.
The average temperature in December and January in Los Angeles is between 9ºc and 21ºc. During the time Robbie Keane would be available to play on loan in England Aston Villa play Wigan at home, Queens Park Rangers travel away to Newcastle and Norwich City face West Brom at the Hawthorns. Playing relegation six-pointers in the snow or slumming it by the pool in LA? I'm not convinced Robbie Keane is that injured.
