Fellaini going nowhere

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has given his assurances that his future lies at Goodison Park.

The Belgium international’s exceptional form this season has predictably fuelled the tank of the rumour mill, and with the January transfer window fast approaching, the speculation of Fellaini leaving the club is hotting up.

But in an interview with Sky Sports, Fellaini was quick to put out the fire:

"My head is exclusively with Everton - I'm saying nothing about all the rumours. Although I'm happy to be praised for my performances, my future is with Everton.”

Five goals in six games have contributed to Everton’s rise to fourth in the Premier League, further helped by their 2-1 victory over fellow 4^th place competitors Tottenham yesterday afternoon. In regard to his form of late, Fellaini said:

"There's no secret to it - it's a combination of luck, work and good positioning in the penalty area.” Adding: “I do what the forwards do....and score goals!"

In addition to his influence on the field, Fellaini has also caught attention off the field with his distinct choice of hair style, in which he assures is mostly through admiration:

"I get many letters from fans asking about my hair and requests about how they should care for their own hair."
