Chelsea in for Partizan Belgrade's Markovic

Chelsea are thought to be close to a deal for Lazar Markovic according to the Daily Mail.  It is thought that the west London club will be able to pick up the 18-year-old Serbian for around £8 million.  Markovic plays for Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian SuperLiga.  The young Lazar's lasar-like aim has seen him net 6 goals in 14 league games making him the second highest scorer at the club and putting Europe's biggest and best clubs on alert.

With Torres struggling to get going in the league, his brace against Sunderland at the weekend notwithstanding, and with Daniel Sturridge hoping to move to Liverpool in the January transfer window the Stamford Bridge club will be looking to strengthen their front line.  With the considerable talent they have in their pool of attacking midfielders it would be a dream come true for any striker.  Frankly I think my Mum could score goals for them so clearly a talented young striker will succeed.  Before Roman Abramovich asks my Mum's got a pre-contract deal at Manchester United so she's already tied up.

The Serbian "Wonder kid" has already played for his country and scored and is thought to be a Chelsea fan so things seem all set for a move to the Premier League soon.
