The flurry of transfer action continues as yet another Championship manager looks to grab a bargain before the loan window closes.

Gaffer Keith hill has written up a Christmas list of 25 potential transfer targets for the chairman to work his magic on, but they have already a lost stocking-filler, as Simon Church has chosen to join fellow northerners Huddersfield.

The football league has gone into a state of panic as the feel of an ‘end of season sale’ continues to press the managers into buying players they don’t need, but I wonder if anyone will be desperate enough to give Nile Ranger another chance?
