Ronaldo Happy To Be.....Ronaldo

The Ballon d’Or winner is due to be announced very soon, there are the obvious names in the hat and those that look like they are just making up the numbers (Mario Balotelli, for example).

Regardless of the other 21 names on the list it is only ever going to be between two men, again. Of course, those two are the juggernauts of modern football, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

For me it can only got to one man, forget all the goals he has scored, it has to go to Ronaldo for one simple factor, his ‘Ronaldo-ness’. Real Madrid’s star man recently told France Football ‘I would vote for myself if it was allowed. I am what I am and I’m delighted’, roughly translated.

We will never hear such brilliant arrogance from Messi, Viva Ronaldo!
