Henry stuck in a Friends-esque three way affair

To every rule, there is an exception and Thierry Henry's ability to return to Arsenal and everything is still lovely and amazing and all lovey dovey like it was originally is the exception to the rule that you should never get back together with an old flame.

His second loan stint at the Emirates went all rather well as he scored a few goals, helped Arsene Wenger through a lean winter and then went home with everyone thinking it was 2006 again and all was well with the world.

Reports have suggested that all parties involved were so happy with how everything went that another loan stint could be on the cards.

All parties that except, according to the Daily Star, the New York Red Bulls who are performing some kind of jealous girlfriend role who dislikes Henry flattering his eyelashes towards Arsenal even though everyone knows they are meant to be together.

To use a Friends analogy- Henry is Ross, Arsenal is Rachel and the Red Bulls are Emily.

Moving on, the Star reports that the Red Bulls' new sporting director Andy Roxburgh has voiced his opposition to the idea as, quite sensibly, he has stated that the end of season break is for players' recuperation like in, say, every other league in the world.

Ergo, Henry should be recuperating and not having a North London-based love-in.

Still, there is always a way for true love to prevail.
