Destination Forest for Alan Hutton

Forest have pulled the short straw and received Alan Hutton on loan until next year.
Okay granted, Hutton has established himself as a Premier League full-back over the past few years but he has also acquired a reputation for being a nasty piece of work, something that most sets of fans consider a guilty pleasure when the said player is wearing the colours of their club. Ask Chelsea fans regarding a certain Mr Terry.
Sean O’Driscoll has snapped up the Scottish defender after he expressed his desire to leave Aston Villa in order to get some playing time, something which Paul Lambert is refusing to give him.
Hutton must have been the only man in the claret and blue to be devastated that Alex McLeish was sacked in the summer as the gaffer was, for some reason, in constant awe over the bald Glaswegian.
McLeish took Hutton under his wing whilst the pair were at Rangers and he also presented the oppourtunity for Hutton to start his international career with Scotland when he was in charge. When McCleish was given the managerial role at Villa Park, Hutton must have already had his bags packed and ready to be reunited.
Perhaps McLeish will be shipped in as part of the back room staff to keep an eye on the former Spurs man. There’s a scary thought for you Forest fans...
