Drogba staying put?

Thierry Henry is not the only exiled Premier League hero suffering from not being allowed to return to a former club.
Didier Drogba, last season playing in what can only best be described as a burgeoning league, has reportedly asked for a loan move away from China outside of the FIFA designated window.
Surprisingly, Drogba has not been able to use his status to engineer such a move according to Sky Sports with FIFA turning down the request.
Drogba had made the request on the grounds he would like to maintain his fitness for the Africa Cup of Nations in January after the Chinese league ended last month which all seems fairly reasonable really.
The news had resulted in a large media assumption that he would return to Chelsea for this period of time to enjoy a love-in once more being back in clique with Lamps, JT and so on.
However, FIFA has declined the request as it remains a move outside of the loan window so Stamford Bridge will not be seeing the familiar Drogba memories of incredible strength and the ability to be blown over by some breathing on them.
