Liverpool linked with flying German winger

One thing that has been surprising about the rise and rebirth of Borussia Dortmund as a European powerhouse is that their top players remain linked to other clubs in Europe as if they are still the Europa League botherers they were pre-Jurgen Klopp.
Case in point, Robert Lewandowski who has been linked with a move to the Premier League since the beginning of the year, Shinji Kagawa who has left and Kevin Grosskreutz.
Krosskreutz has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks and now, according to Sky Sports, the move could be on.
The website reports that the 24-year-old has expressed an interest in joining the Premier League as he believes it is the best place to ply his trade and continue his growth as a footballer in the future.
He did add that he would talk to Dortmund first mind so maybe not a banker just yet as he is under contract until 2015 too.
The story adds that the German international is a friend of Liverpool loanee Nuri Sahin which is of not a lot of relevance as when was the last time you decided a job was for you solely on the basis you have a friend that works there who may well not be there this time next year?
